First of all we have to know what is basically parrot security operating system is? So it is a Linux distribution operating system which is used for hacking. You can use the Linux commands which may be used in Ubuntu Kali Linux etc. You must need to use this operating system because this is really really amazing then the Kali Linux and Ubuntu because a lot of tools are installed by default in this OS and you will not need to installed it?

Especially this operating system is designed for hacking and penetration testing. Parrot operating system is based on debian testing branch (buster) with custom Linux Kernel it follows a rolling release development model.
In short parrot security OS is security in security/anonymity/pentration distribution of Linux similar to Kali Linux. It is a debian based and they have gone to a rolling release of operating system and tools.
